Women Empowering Women

Women are such beautiful, spiritual beings. We are so lucky to be able to take advantage of the choices that have been given to us, by all the inspiring women who have lead the way.

Women believe in dreams, both theirs and others.

They support and encourage. They are strong, they are overcoming their fears and adversity of everyday life; standing up for what they believe in.

Some women are just now, maybe for the first time, noticing they do have a voice, an opinion, and other women really want to listen and hear what they have to say. We are joining hands and hearts while giving each other praise and confidence like never before in the history of human kind. For way too many years, women have taken a back seat to other half of our species, and we did it almost voluntarily! We must have decided, back in the cavemen days, that the children would be able to sleep much better when the house was quiet. So we let the man think he was right, as not to shake the foundation. That may have been our best possible choice way back then, but now a days, we have so many other choices, that this one just doesn't make much sense anymore.

Women have been discouraged for decades not to pursue their dreams. We were told over and over again that we weren't smart enough, strong enough, or not focused enough to become a success. Shucks, we were told so many times that we eventually believed it! We have been programmed for countless years to be quiet, sit down, take care of the children, to cook, clean, do laundry...you know the routine, to the point where it is now an unspoken rule of society that the woman of the house do all these extra chores after working all day, while 9 times out of 10, the hubby just kicks back to watch the boob tube and wait for supper to be served. This is the stone age mentality folks...so yesterday.

Finally things are changing, and none too soon if you ask me. The old way of doing business and living life is gone down the drain, and the new school has come to town. Women are at the forefront of this change, taking first place as it should be. We are now taking charge, having faith in each other, meeting new people, educating ourselves, and just plain old stepping up to the plate to take a few swings...no matter what others might be saying. As a result of taking risks and having more faith, we are actually surprising ourselves! So many women are being astonished by their own accomplishments that they are helping to pave the road for many more woman to see their own potential. We are opening up to new heights, raising the bar. No longer are women a stepping stone, or only a 'helper' of sorts. We are the leaders, the doers, the movers and the shakers. All we need is each other and we can do anything we set our minds to do.

In this 'new school' approach to life and work, the old mentality and strict rigid rules are falling to the way side. No one wants to be pushed around, forced into decisions, told what to do. We have awoken from our slumber you might say, and are eagerly searching for more. There's no stopping us now, so don't even try. Just think...if women were running the world, oh what a world it would be. Full of color and Love, desire and dreams, there would be no starving kids or bullies in school. No depression or recession. You would find a much higher degree of collective consciousness and people would be treating people as we want to be treated. We would be working together - not pushing people away. We would be actively looking for ways to find balance within our own lives, in the lives of our friends and neighbors, and in the world as a whole.

A woman this day in age has a huge advantage then that of women not 20 years ago! Think about where you are and where you want to go, take a few deep breaths and a couple of baby steps. Then the universe knows which way you decided to go and will be sure to have the people you need to help you succeed be there when you arrive.This is the perfect time to be alive - and a woman. We are growing stronger, healthier, smarter, becoming more and more independent, and building bridges with others. As this trend grows, we are bound to see plenty more girls only clubs and gatherings.

Do all of us a huge favor and stop doing it alone. You just don't have to anymore. There are so many positive environments that nurture us and builds long lasting, meaningful friendships. Take full advantage of this thing we call social media. Don't be shy. Take the plunge, make some friends, be and do what feels good in your heart. And most of all....do it freely and never worry about what someone else might think.
