It’s not God’s fault!

The Buddist’s teaching about the law of karma goes like this: ‘for every event that occurs, there will follow another event whose existence was caused by the first, and this second event will be pleasant or unpleasant according to its cause as either skillful or unskillful.’

Or as Newton puts it: ''To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction”

Before we even heard of Karma, all the blame was placed on God. But now, with our extensive knowledge of cause and effect, we now realize we are to blame for what we have created.

Once you realize how the Law of Cause and Effect, or Karma, is at work in your universe, you suddenly realize how powerful you really are. You become empowered and begin to live by design instead of by default.

It should come as no surprise then that God has much bigger and better plans for you then you might be experiencing in your life right now.

The belief that humanity is waiting for the Messiah to come and save us is the culprit for keeping us unaware of our own abilities to create miracles. It keeps us waiting instead of doing.

Just before Moses and the other Israelites split the Red Sea, God said aloud,

Baby Moses rescued from the NileImage via Wikipedia“Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.”

God was basically asking us ‘Why are you crying to me? What am I supposed to do? You do it! You can do it! Just believe, go forth in complete faith and certainty and it will be done.

There’s the proof…we are supposed to be creating our own miracles!

We have to stop waiting for something or someone who is not even scheduled to arrive. God is the one waiting, he’s waiting for us to realize this, take responsibility and start acting in faith.

God wants us to live in abundance and receive miracles all the time. All you have to do is learn how to connect to your inner power and start creating!

Until you are in control, your life and ultimately your destiny is in the hands of every natural reaction of the outside world. Your life will be influenced by others and you will continue to live randomly with no plans for a better future. You are more prone to living life on autopilot, only existing and merely dealing with each passing change life throws at you. This is dangerous living - it causes sickness, dis-ease and it takes lives.

Without the awareness of your own miraculous abilities, you are not living your purpose. You are not actively evolving as man should be, and most likely you are suffering on some level.

Stop living by mistake and start creating on purpose. You can start here:

reBlog from thedepressiontrap: The Depression Trap

I found this fascinating quote today:

Do our thoughts cause our feelings or do our feelings cause our thoughts? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the theory that feelings are caused by thoughts. This seems to make a lot of sense. If we spend all our time thinking that our life is awful, we are useless and nothing is ever going to get better then it’s not surprising that we end up feeling sad, hopeless and despairing. Equally if we think we will succeed, recognize all the positive things in our life and think that things will improve this may help us to feel happy, optimistic and positive. Are You Lost? Find Yourself Through Self Coaching

One common thread in all of humanity is that our motivation comes from the hopeful result of feeling better. We all want to feel good so we do things that will help us feel even better.

To desire is our nature. Desire is our seed. It is what we are all made of and is deeply engrained within our DNA. Not to desire, or want, in life is to deny your core, your very soul of its primary goal of having it all.

We all want whatever it is that makes us feel love. We all want to feel fulfilled, to live in everlasting abundance. This is because somewhere hidden deep within us, is a faint memory of what used to be. You have experienced such complete joy and abundance of any and every form imaginable, in such overwhelming amounts, that you didn’t lack in any way, what so ever. You are able to miss these awesome feelings because of your distant memory of having it before. You wouldn’t be seeking it, missing it, or wanting it, unless you have experienced it before. You can’t miss what you don’t know. If you never tasted chocolate, how could you crave it?

So why does the majority of the population continually act and do things that ultimately lead them further away from their own happiness? This is because they don’t know there is a better way. They might not even realize they have a choice in the matter. They say ignorance is bliss, but I think ignorance will provide you with suffering, not bliss.

Once you realize that you always have choices, you can begin to make better decisions that will lead you to your desired result. Look where running on auto pilot has gotten you so far. Are you where you want to be in life? Is this how you imagined it? Do you feel that something is missing, but can’t put your finger on it? What are you longing for? What do you desire?

Self coaching can help you answer all your questions and you will be able to take actions that will catapult you towards your goals; towards happiness and contentment – stress free.

The way to a better life is on a better path. That better path is inside of you right now, it always has been, and it’s your purpose to connect to it, dial in and never hang up.

By building a strong connection with your soul, you will discover things about yourself that you might not have known before. You will be more in tune with your emotions, being able to control them as you wish. You will find out what is not working in your life, and how you can begin to change them right away. You will feel empowered as you regain control over your life. You will realize that you are in charge of your own destiny and you have the added benefit of clear vision.

Self coaching is your vehicle to your innermost being. It is very reliable and it will get you to your destination, but only if you use it. You will be creating a deeply intimate relationship with your inner spirit; it doesn’t have to be shared with anyone if you don’t want to. Your journey is your own, so own it.

Surely you ego, or conscious mind will pipe up and start squealing. It’ll tell you that self coaching is too much work, or it will take too much of your valuable time! It’ll try to sabotage you and get you to turn away. So many excuses…so little time. Fear might even creep in. Don’t let this happen. Make a decision to do this, no matter what the voices inside your head might say.

Self coaching is absolutely free. The answers are already within you. Although you probably will decide to spend some money on your coaching kit though. If you are serious about changing your life then you will want to have a few items to begin your journey. First, you should have a journal of some kind. A file on your computer or a three ring binder is all you need. Just some where you can write down your feelings, everyday. You will want to carry a pen with you so you are able to jot down the clues and messages you notice throughout your day. These will be your evidence that the universe can hear you and is responding perfectly.

If you suffer from low-self esteem, stress, anxiety, fear, worry or loneliness, then self coaching will prove to be a priceless tool that will help you through. Your connection to the Divine has never been, or ever will be, extinguished. You were not born to suffer, you were born to discover. Investing in a little self discovery will lead you to freedom.

Self coaching is the most effective way to ‘find yourself’. But the only way these techniques work for you, is if you actually apply them. Get involved. Participate. Do your work because you’re worth it! Self coaching will change your life if you only allow it.

During your self coaching journey, I want you to celebrate your ever success. Keep in mind you are learning how to fully connect to your feelings and inner most being. This may feel uncomfortable at first simply because it is new and unfamiliar to you. But stick with it and you will soon realize that there countless rewards actually waiting for you. All you need to do is reach out and grab them.

Your life has a pattern to it, everybody’s does. By learning new life skills, you will start creating a new life pattern for yourself. As a result, your world will change for the better, both inside and out.

Be sure to check back often as I plan to give you loads of valuable, easy to use tools, articles and tips each and every week.

Do You Mind?

Although the mind has been studied by leading scientists for many years, it still remains a map of mystery and perplexity. The mind is not the brain as some may think, but something that is both individual and universal alike. The mind is not a fixed, unchangeable entity. It is constantly changing, expanding, filing, remembering, organizing, labeling, figuring…non stop. What some may not realize though is that we can control its changes, which in turn, affects our life and our circumstances.

Your mind is a super--duper computer, capturing and storing data every second, all day, every day. With the fast paced world around you and all the demands you have each day; it would be helpful to give yourself and your mind, a break. Wandering restlessly is the normal state of the conditioned mind and keeps us walking in circles of confusion and uncertainty. When you choose to store unnecessary data in your mind you're just increasing stress and tension. Detoxifying your mind is just as important as detoxifying your body.

It’s proven that the human mind thinks thousands of thoughts a day. Each thought is like planting a seed that could eventually manifest in the physical realm. Instead of planting a mixed bag of thousands of fearful, confused and unfocused thought-seeds, why not focus on planting positive seeds instead? Plant more and more positive seeds, nurture them and watch them grow. Be skillful in which seeds you plant, and you will see the world changing around you. Your mind is a powerful tool but without the right guidance, your thoughts and your reaction to them, will sabotage your goals and may cause depression, anxiety and even illness.

When untamed, your mind will play tricks on you, and even sabotage you. Your thoughts are easily side-tracked throughout the day which causes worry. When you become aware of your thoughts you can easily remind yourself that there is a special time for worry. Repeating a problem over and over in your mind will not solve the problem, but will only make it worse. Studies have been done on people who’s tried “worry time”. They found these people worried a whopping 35% less at the end of the month. That's a huge change! If you want, set a time in your schedule when you can sit and do nothing but worry, so the rest of your day can be lived in present moment awareness. Focusing on your immediate activity in the present moment makes it much easier to notice your thoughts. Accepting every moment without resistance also helps. This is taking control of your mind and your life.

Staying positive and optimistic is essential in creating any success. It has to happen in your mind first, and then reality will follow. Changing how your mind thinks takes some effort, but your mind is just as important as your body. You do have the power to change your mind, thinking, beliefs and attitudes, thereby improving your quality of life.

Research shows that meditation is a helpful tool in calming the mind and refreshing the body. Hunger of the mind can be satisfied through extensive reading, doing puzzles, or playing math games. Anything that challenges you to think will surely help strengthen your mind. Your mind is your strongest muscle, and like all muscles, it needs to be stretched, pushed farther and used more often to become stronger.

Your mind is also your most influential tool for good health and well being. Doctors continually report the power of placebos. They are witnessing miraculous recoveries and realizing that miracles of healing are simply the body obeying the subconscious mind. When the questioning nature of the normal conscious mind is silenced, along with using the power of suggestion, the body can be healed. Your physical body is directly impacted by the thoughts you have.

Most of your thoughts are triggered from something outside your body. Everything and every thought has a frequency, so be in the frequency of whatever it is you would like to be, do or have. That’s a great way to begin changing your life right now.

Your thought vibrations are like a radio station. If you are only playing the blues, you will attract people who like listening to the blues. Hence, whoever is happy will attract others who are happy too. Becoming aware of your wandering mind is a success, not a failure. You cannot change anything until you are aware of it.

Your mind is a magnet that attracts experiences to you, both the good and the not-so-good. When you engage in gossip or negative conversation with or about someone else, your subconscious mind hears it all, and takes it personally—about you. The universe automatically goes to work, creating that suggestion for you to experience.

You are a part of the universal whole, and are constantly being served by the universe to become a greater expression of your thoughts. As your conscious mind focuses on a goal, your subconscious takes that impression and creates a mold or pattern. The universe then pours itself into that mold and it appears in your life.

Your mind is busy all the time. Temptation, media, and other people are some external factors that battle for control of your mind. Negative and random thoughts are the internal forces that fight for the controls. You already know what you should be doing; but external forces and internal thoughts are constantly tempting you to do otherwise. You cannot always be in control of every external situation, but you can be in control of how you react to them.

Thoughts about how you feel or how someone has upset you during your day can go around and round in your head. To quiet this, a helpful practice is to write down all that you feel. Put pen to paper, or on your computer, start by writing, “I am feeling angry because…”, or “I get so frustrating when….” Let it all out. I promise by the time you are done, you will feel much better and you may find an option that you never noticed before.

The mind is your roadmap to your future. If your mind is operating on autopilot – thinking what it wants – you will get nowhere fast. If you want a better life, you need to take control and direct your mind to having more positive thoughts. When you notice a negative thought, change it and replace it with a thought that allows you to achieve what you want, or what makes your life more pleasant. Visualize your success; see yourself living the life you want. Don't let negative thinkers get the upper hand. Don't listen to them – you are in charge of your life and with a positive thinking pattern you stand a much better chance of success and happiness.

Another mind exercise you could try is: Sit comfortably, eyes closed and think of a glass or a cup. Try to empty your mind of every thought that isn't related to that cup, your whole universe is that cup. What would it be like to be that cup? Imagine what the cup feels like. How do you feel when there’s liquid poured in the cup, does it feel hotter or colder? Does it have a smell? a taste? When any unrelated thought enters your mind, refocus your attention onto your cup. With practice you will become better at shutting out unrelated thoughts. Do this for at least 5 minutes (set a timer so you aren't thinking about the time). With practice, you should find that your mind can be focused longer, and you will have fewer distracting thoughts.

Your mind is powered by you. It is either working for you, or against you, depending upon how it is programmed to perform. Your mind is constantly processing a stream of sensations, visual impressions, emotions, and thoughts. By freeing yourself from limiting old beliefs and thinking patterns, you have a new opportunity to make better choices. With your commitment and vigilance, you can learn to drop negative ideas before they pull your attention away from your present activity. Yes, it is possible to change how you think and feel.

Look for ways to expand your mental capacity, because your mind is a terrible thing to waste. Scientists and doctors say the average person only uses nine to eleven percent of our mental power. Just think how much better your life would be if you learned to use just five percent more of your intellectual faculties then you are using right now.

Read articles or books that are out of the ordinary, something that requires you to focus differently then what you are used to. Start thinking outside the box and remember to pay close attention to your mind. Change your thoughts, change your life.

‘Your mind is like a parachute - it works best when it's open.’
