Harness The Power Of The Universe With The Secret Law Of Attraction

By Leona Claives

The universe is full of forces and vibrations. Many of these have already been discovered by scientists. They are incredibly powerful forces that shape our physical lives for example gravity. There are however other forces which are responsible for creating reality. Now imagine how much you could achieve you were able to harness these natural forces for your own purposes. With the secret law of attraction, you can do just that.

The theories behind the law of attraction have been around in one form or another since man first began to question his place in the universe. Approximately one hundred years ago, advances were made in being able to feel the powers of the universe in your mind. Since then, refinements have been made and today Abraham Hicks has codified the law of attraction.

If you are planning on making the law of attraction work for you, you need to train your mind to use it. The first step in your training is to have only positive thoughts. This is actually more difficult than it sounds. You need to take all the doubts and secret fears you hold in the back of your mind and sweep them clean away.

In order to create a positive energy field, you must think only positive thoughts. This means not only positive thoughts about others, but also positive thoughts about yourself. We are our own best critics. It is important that you are able to look at yourself in the mirror and honestly be able to say: "I like me" and really mean it.

To learn how to make the law of attraction work for you, you don't have to take any fancy classes or go on a Himalayan retreat. All you have to do is take time to train your mind to be open to the natural energy that the universe offers.

Once you completely believe that you are amazing person, it is time to let the powers of the universe work for you. Energy works like a magnet. If you are full of positive energy then the positive energy of the rest of the world will be drawn to you as well. Once you have gathered up all this incredible positive energy, you can project outward from yourself.

Attract other people to you with the force of your personality. Influence people's first impressions. If you are confident and self-assured, others will treat you with more respect. More respect can also lead to more professional and personal opportunities.

Once you have turned your mind into a positive energy magnet all the positive energy flowing throughout the world will be attracted to you. Project that energy outward to help you influence people and accomplish your goals. The positive power of your personality should overwhelm people in a good way. Just imagine what you want them to be saying to you or what goal you want to achieve and the universal power backing up your mind will make it happen. With the law of attraction your personal potential is unlimited.

Secrets Of How To Develop Abundance

By David Elsey

Abundance is a state of mind that leads to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits. Developing abundance, therefore, is as much an internal process as it is an external one. It requires self reflection and honesty for people to heal their lives and attract the best possible opportunities, people and situations into their experience. Sometimes this process can be very challenging but the benefits are enormous.

We can say that people lack abundance when they fail to show that they are satisfied in life. What most people misunderstood about abundance is satisfaction and where to get it. As generally thought of, people would only experience abundance when they are satisfied with material things and wealth. The fact is people would still lack abundance despite their wealth and riches. Some of them would even feel miserable although they are the richest men on earth. This is because most of the wealthiest people do not care to have warm relationship with other people making their lives unhappy and less exciting.

Developing abundance, then, needs to start with the way life is approached including beliefs, thinking patterns and emotional habits. If a person is willing to change the way they think (and speak) about things and to develop mature and positive emotional responses, they can turn their life around.

The world we live in is no doubt an abundant place, and all of us should have our equal share of abundant living. But despite this fact, not all are experiencing an abundant life. This could be because abundance cannot get through their lives due to some unnecessary things that block the way. If you have bitterness, guilt, pains, anger, or other negative feelings toward the people around you, abundance will not be able to reward you.

The first step to develop abundance is to face your own negative self and overcome all the bad personality you possess within yourself. It's not only those bad people out there who can make you a victim; it is also you who can victimize yourself through your negative attitude towards bad experiences. If you were hurt before and such event became traumatic for you, do not let it to continuously hurt you by living in the past. Let go of the pain and open your self to forgiveness. This will be your key to a successful and abundant life.

Developing abundance is also developing your inner self. Look at yourself inside and see through your emotions. There may be lots of things that keep negative forces to pull you down. Assess yourself and evaluate those things that need certain focus and attention to help you improve your life and become abundant later on.

There are many principles and therapies that you can use to help yourself experience abundance. The cognitive behavior and energy therapies with EFT and applied kinesiology are all helpful. All you have to do is to help yourself accept the fact that you need these tools for your self development and motivate yourself to do all the necessary steps in order to attract abundance in life.

Aside from changing your inner being, you also have to develop your outer being. Plan your actions and set your goals so that you can focus more on what you need to prioritize. This way you can move from one level to a higher one.

Developing abundance needs planning and actions. But you have to make your actions go in harmony with your beliefs and principles. You can achieve an abundant life with true satisfaction and happiness if you know that you are living in harmony with other people, with yourself, and with your environment. How you look at life will always be a major factor in developing abundance.

Developing abundance is a worthwhile goal. It's not selfish to live an abundant life. In fact, it enables people to be generous to others and frees them from self-focus necessary when struggling to survive. The process of developing abundance usually takes some time, but it is a satisfying journey that transforms individuals and their communities.

The Time to Be Happy is Now By Laura Ceville

I once came across a sundial that said: "The Time to Be Happy is Now. The Place to Be Happy is Here." Simple, yet this saying is at the heart of so much unrest for so many. I struggle with this one myself! Most people say, if only I had "X," things would be better. If only I had "X" amount of money I would start saving. If only I had "X" opportunity I would really be successful. If only I had the--fill in the blank--health, wealth, skills etc. life would be so much different! What is your X Factor?

Unfortunately we build our whole lives around our X Factor. We "if only" ourselves to the grave. When our lives are spent we finally look back and say, "Tomorrow never came." We then realize, when it is too late, that our time to shine was at our very fingertips. It was always ours for the taking. As Henry David Thoreau said, "Heaven is under our feet, as well as over our heads." And not just some days--everyday!

A few years ago I had the opportunity to escort Mr. Billy Ray Cyrus and his band mates around for a day in preparation for a free show he was putting on for the troops (Go Air Force!). At the time I had a fire-engine red electric guitar and was learning how to play. As we were heading over to the venue for the event one of Billy Ray's band mates (a guitarist) said, let me give you a tip: "Most people hear me play and say, 'If I could play like that I'd play all of the time.'" He went on to say that this thinking is flawed. "They don't realize," he said, "You have to play all of the time to sound like that!" So very true I thought! But knowing something is so and acting on that knowledge are two very different things.

You must act now to make a change! Today is the day. Do not fool yourself into believing that your success will come when you finally reach some imaginary plane of existence you have conjured because you fear the repercussions of immediate change. Here's a secret that was whispered into my ear a few years back: God doesn't put a dream in you that you can't make a reality, i.e. everything you need is already in you!

As Napoleon Hill said, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve." It is the truth. Forget your X Factor. Toss your hesitations to the wind. Act now to make the change you wish to see a reality. If you don't know how to get to where you want to be find someone who has already achieved what you want and earnestly ask them for their advice, their encouragement, and their support. More importantly shut your mouth and listen (two ears, one mouth for a reason, remember?). In short, put your ego aside and humble yourself.

So what are you putting off? What "if only's" do you have rattling around in your head? Decide today to be the winner you were born to be! When you start acting like a winner, you will become a winner, and other winners will find you! They will seek you out to hear you speak your truth. As Jim Rohn once said, "You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less. Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?"

Today is your day!

"Things are not as bad as I think they are." by Alan Tutt

Today I want to share with you a very powerful affirmation which
has gotten me out of some rather unpleasant circumstances.

According to many who teach affirmations, it's not a good one,
but I can tell you from my own experience -- it works!

Just to make sure we fully understand each other, I should define
what I mean by "affirmation".  An affirmation is a statement
which refocuses our mind with the intention of altering the
experiences we have in our lives.

A classic affirmation may be something like:
"Every day, in every way, my life is getting better and better."

This is the famous affirmation taught by Emile Coue in the
classic book, "Self Mastery Through Conscious Autosuggestion."
(By the way, this book may be found in the Research Library
offered as a bonus with all PowerKeys Publishing memberships.)

The principle behind affirmations is that by repeating the
statement over and over again, our minds start to believe it,
and from there, the power of belief starts to direct the course
of events in our lives to produce the essence of the statement in
our experience.

Traditionally, affirmations are supposed to be phrased in the
present tense (happening, or existing now), and positive (stating
the desired condition directly, rather than through the use of
'not').

Many years ago, when I was just starting to learn these
principles, I had many negative conditions in my life.  When
things seemed to be at their worst, and I could not see any way
to cope, I repeated the following affirmation over and over.

"Things are not as bad as I think they are."

It may seem strange that I didn't use an affirmation that said
something more like "My life is a glorious picture of perfection.
Everything happens exactly as I want it to."

After all, that would seem to fit the standard definition of what
an affirmation is supposed to be, right?

Maybe, but it wouldn't have worked.

Here's why.  To be effective, an affirmation must be believable!

If you try repeating an affirmation that makes your stomach turn
because you know it's absolutely not true, then the only thing
you're doing is reinforcing the belief that things are bad.

And that's not what you want.

Even though that little affirmation doesn't measure up to
traditional standards, it works because it was something I could
believe.  I could believe that I didn't have an accurate idea of
what really existed in the world around me.

And admitting that I didn't know everything opened the door for
my inner mind (and the Power of the Universe) to show me a better
side of the world.

Each time I felt so low that the only thing I could focus my mind
upon was the idea that I was wrong, I would spend a few minutes
repeating this strange little affirmation to myself.

A few minutes was all it took, because I started to feel better,
and I could believe that there were better things happening, or
at least they COULD happen.

And that was enough to get the ball rolling in the right
direction.  The very next day, I would always find a bit of "good
luck" coming my way, making the sun shine brighter, and easing my
way down Life's highway.

Hopefully, things aren't that bad in your life.  But if they are,
or if you know something who thinks things are that bad, I
suggest using this affirmation:

"Things are not as bad as I think they are."

As surely as the sun rises the next day, so will your spirits.

Solve the Mystery of Living in the Light by Guy Finley

Here’s a true idea that rarely occurs to us. There is a greater potential in what we don’t yet know about this life of ours than there is in what we’ve already seen about it.

This great undiscovered territory–this “darkness” within us–is there for a distinctly Divine purpose: it exists as it does to serve the Light that reveals it; for in each such revelation there is a simultaneous realization and release of a new order of consciousness. There is such beauty in this idea, for it speaks to the possibility of a continual rebirth within us. What this means is that currently we don’t yet see “problems” for what they really are: a part of the Light within us that we have yet to perceive! Any thought or feeling that troubles us in mind or heart, any fear or worry, is like a candle not yet lit. What purpose has any flame or light–in any form we may find it–other than to enter into and transform what is dark into more of itself?

For instance, maybe we turn around one day and find ourselves caught in the dark grip of some kind of fear. Perhaps we see the one we love “looking the other way”; maybe a phone call delivers uncertain news about our deteriorating health; or someone tells us about a forthcoming change at work that threatens our sense of security.

In moments such as these, our future grows as dark and full of the loneliness, worry, and loss we see coming our way. But our lives need not be swallowed up in unconscious servitude to this kind of suffering. We have another choice if we will only dare be still and be the Light. Here now are some ways to practice realizing the truth of your Self. Each case begins with remembering to make the new choice that follows:

* Instead of surrendering yourself to its punishing presence, bring your loneliness into the Light of your Self. If you will remain there within your awareness of this “darkness”,  here’s what you’ll see take place before your inner eyes: the fear of being alone will be transformed into the contentment of knowing that you have never been without the love that you long for. You will see that a tenderness beyond words lives within the
Light you have embraced.

* Bring your fear and worry about “tomorrow” into the Light of your Self. Remain there in your awareness of these frightening shadows, and here’s what will unfold before your inner eyes: you’ll watch these dark doubts dissolve into anunquestioned knowing that no time to come has power over the peace of being in the present moment. You will see that serenity is one with the life of the Light you have chosen to be.

*When visited by some sense of loss or emptiness, bring it into the Light of your Self. Remain quietly attentive to how that dark state wants to drag you into its world, even as you hold it in your awareness, and you’ll see a miracle take place before your inner eyes: that feeling of being forsaken will be transformed into the fullness of knowing that who you really are is wholeness itself. For your willingness to be inwardly watchful, you will see that the Light of your Self reaches everywhere in the universe . . . so how could you ever be alone? All that lives . . . lives within the Light of your Self.

After many years of talking to aspirants about being the Light instead of searching for what they think they need to deal with their dark states, I have found there is one main reason most people won’t take the leap of releasing their fears into the Light that lives within them. They profess a love of the Light, but whenever an unwanted moment appears, and they look into its unknown abyss . . . they see no Light there, only darkness.
Then comes an immediate resistance, and darkness rules the day. Let me shed some light on this problem.
Things are not always as they are seen.

Do you recall the wonderful characters in The Wizard of Oz? Along with Dorothy–who was trying to find her way back home–there was the scarecrow, the tin man, and the cowardly lion: her compatriots on the journey to see the great wizard who would grant each of them their most fervent wish.

The scarecrow wanted a brain, a mind with which to reason and know the truth of things. The tin man hoped for a heart to beat in his hollow tin chest, so that by its warmth and rhythmic beating he would know the presence of the love for which he longed; and the cowardly lion wanted courage to face his fears, to meet any form of darkness with what it takes to defeat it. By the end of the story–largely as a result of what they go through because of their love for Dorothy–each makes this glad discovery: the very quality of character for which they had gone out searching was already living within them!

So it is with us: we have forgotten that who we really are cannot be made a captive of any dark condition any more than a sunbeam can be caught and held in a bottle.

Our True Self is success itself, in every meaning of the word, because by its Light it fulfills and liberates all that it touches.

Never mind all the voices you’ll no doubt hear shouting at you the first time you decide to be the Light of your Self. That which is dark does not go gently through being made new and bright. So there is work involved. But the Light we realize within us never fails; it literally carries us above whatever mountain is before us by revealing it to be nothing other than what we had yet to see about ourselves.

We cannot control the way the world turns, we cannot change day into night, we cannot keep what is not ours; and we cannot hide these facts from ourselves, no matter how hard we try. But what we are given to do, and that turns out to be the one power of ours truly capable of transforming the whole of life, is that we can choose–moment to moment–to be the Light of our Self. We are created as co-creators of all that we can be conscious of within ourselves. It is our right to be in relationship with only those powers whose presence serves our chosen purpose in life

. . . which is to be one with the Light.

How to tell if your awake or asleep

Seems like a pretty easy thing to do, right? How can someone not tell
the difference between being asleep or being awake?

Well, the scary thing is that it is incredibly hard to tell!

And if you're asleep, you might just be dreaming a long, long dream.
So in case you can't tell if you're asleep or awake, here are a few
pointers to help you out.

You're still "asleep" if you:

* Feel unfulfilled, as if a huge piece is missing from your life

* Find yourself frustrated that a certain 'want' has not yet manifested
in your life
* Have regrets about things that have happened you in the past.

* Are still searching for your life's purpose

If any one of those points describes you, then chances are you're still
asleep. And the truth of the matter is that MOST people are still asleep.

So it's time to WAKE UP...

Most of us have been sleep-walking our entire lives and never get to
wake up to who we are and our unique gifts.

reBlog from thedepressiontrap: The Depression Trap

I found this fascinating quote today:

Do our thoughts cause our feelings or do our feelings cause our thoughts? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the theory that feelings are caused by thoughts. This seems to make a lot of sense. If we spend all our time thinking that our life is awful, we are useless and nothing is ever going to get better then it’s not surprising that we end up feeling sad, hopeless and despairing. Equally if we think we will succeed, recognize all the positive things in our life and think that things will improve this may help us to feel happy, optimistic and positive. The Depression Trap, Jul 2008

Gratefulness

I love how a simple daily occurrence has the power to enlighten us, if we are aware enough to see it, that is.

Let me explain…

As I was casually getting around to waking up this morning, I went to the kitchen to get a coffee and some toast. If you knew me, you would agree that I’m a bit clumsy in the morning before my first cup of java.

While I waited for the water to come to a screeching boil, my toast popped, all warm and golden brown….yummmm. So I’m fumbling around, twisting the jelly jar open, pulling a butter knife from the utensil drawer, and spreading a nice thick layer of jelly on the first piece of toast.. I picked up the other piece of toast and plunked a big heaping spoonful of jelly on it to spread around.

Just as I had finished and was about to put it back on my plate, it slipped from my hand. This has probably happened to you too a time or two, so you must be familiar with the gasp that follows.

Of course, my first reaction was “aarrggg!,” but then I noticed it landed on the cupboard jelly side up! As soon as I realized my luck, I felt a rush of love and thankfulness wash over me. I felt so grateful to the Universe for my toast landing safely on the cupboard with no sticky mess.

Women Empowering Women

Women are such beautiful, spiritual beings. We are so lucky to be able to take advantage of the choices that have been given to us, by all the inspiring women who have lead the way.

Women believe in dreams, both theirs and others.

They support and encourage. They are strong, they are overcoming their fears and adversity of everyday life; standing up for what they believe in.

Some women are just now, maybe for the first time, noticing they do have a voice, an opinion, and other women really want to listen and hear what they have to say. We are joining hands and hearts while giving each other praise and confidence like never before in the history of human kind. For way too many years, women have taken a back seat to other half of our species, and we did it almost voluntarily! We must have decided, back in the cavemen days, that the children would be able to sleep much better when the house was quiet. So we let the man think he was right, as not to shake the foundation. That may have been our best possible choice way back then, but now a days, we have so many other choices, that this one just doesn't make much sense anymore.

Women have been discouraged for decades not to pursue their dreams. We were told over and over again that we weren't smart enough, strong enough, or not focused enough to become a success. Shucks, we were told so many times that we eventually believed it! We have been programmed for countless years to be quiet, sit down, take care of the children, to cook, clean, do laundry...you know the routine, to the point where it is now an unspoken rule of society that the woman of the house do all these extra chores after working all day, while 9 times out of 10, the hubby just kicks back to watch the boob tube and wait for supper to be served. This is the stone age mentality folks...so yesterday.
