How Can One Unwind After A Hard Week At Work?

All that one can think of by the end of the week is the weekend and the various ways in which one can relax. All that one wants to do is to unwind and forget the travails of the week gone by. The different ways in which one can relax are plentiful. You will be surprised about the different ways in which people relax. This helps them get back to work with a newfound fount of energy.

Pamper yourself by having a warm bubble bath. Take yourself to the salon and have a new haircut. Soak your feet in a tub and give yourself a pedicure. Let the most soothing of music play in the background as you soak your tired muscles in a bathtub. This will transport you to another world altogether. A world, full of no noise or distraction but, just serene peace all around you!

Shopping can work to be a great stress reliever. You can go ahead and indulge yourself after working so very hard the entire week. The best way for you to reward yourself is by buying Gucci replica handbags. These handbags can certainly make you look fantastic. Check out the new collection at Gucci replica handbags. They are worth having on your arm when you go back to work on Monday. Also, they can be bought at extremely reasonable rates.

How about going for a late night movie or reading something that interests you. This pursuit will enable you to showcase your creative side and relax. A good movie or a good book can be one of the most relaxing of feelings. You can watch the classics or take in a comedy movie. This will make certain that you have a good laugh and forget all the stressors of the week gone by.

Take a nap or go to bed early. Sometimes just not doing anything will help you tremendously. You will be able to wake up the next day refreshed and rejuvenated. Sleep will then be the best idea for you to wake up with a clean slate and thinking clearly and precisely. At the same time do not nap too much as this will be counterproductive.

Meditation and exercise can leave you feeling as fresh as a daisy. Try to sit in one place and calm your mind. Focus on something and then let all the other thoughts flow out. Practice deep breathing exercises. This can certainly help you a great deal. Exercise on a treadmill or take yourself out for a walk. Anything that will get you on the move is good for you.

Secrets Of How To Develop Abundance

By David Elsey

Abundance is a state of mind that leads to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual benefits. Developing abundance, therefore, is as much an internal process as it is an external one. It requires self reflection and honesty for people to heal their lives and attract the best possible opportunities, people and situations into their experience. Sometimes this process can be very challenging but the benefits are enormous.

We can say that people lack abundance when they fail to show that they are satisfied in life. What most people misunderstood about abundance is satisfaction and where to get it. As generally thought of, people would only experience abundance when they are satisfied with material things and wealth. The fact is people would still lack abundance despite their wealth and riches. Some of them would even feel miserable although they are the richest men on earth. This is because most of the wealthiest people do not care to have warm relationship with other people making their lives unhappy and less exciting.

Developing abundance, then, needs to start with the way life is approached including beliefs, thinking patterns and emotional habits. If a person is willing to change the way they think (and speak) about things and to develop mature and positive emotional responses, they can turn their life around.

The world we live in is no doubt an abundant place, and all of us should have our equal share of abundant living. But despite this fact, not all are experiencing an abundant life. This could be because abundance cannot get through their lives due to some unnecessary things that block the way. If you have bitterness, guilt, pains, anger, or other negative feelings toward the people around you, abundance will not be able to reward you.

The first step to develop abundance is to face your own negative self and overcome all the bad personality you possess within yourself. It's not only those bad people out there who can make you a victim; it is also you who can victimize yourself through your negative attitude towards bad experiences. If you were hurt before and such event became traumatic for you, do not let it to continuously hurt you by living in the past. Let go of the pain and open your self to forgiveness. This will be your key to a successful and abundant life.

Developing abundance is also developing your inner self. Look at yourself inside and see through your emotions. There may be lots of things that keep negative forces to pull you down. Assess yourself and evaluate those things that need certain focus and attention to help you improve your life and become abundant later on.

There are many principles and therapies that you can use to help yourself experience abundance. The cognitive behavior and energy therapies with EFT and applied kinesiology are all helpful. All you have to do is to help yourself accept the fact that you need these tools for your self development and motivate yourself to do all the necessary steps in order to attract abundance in life.

Aside from changing your inner being, you also have to develop your outer being. Plan your actions and set your goals so that you can focus more on what you need to prioritize. This way you can move from one level to a higher one.

Developing abundance needs planning and actions. But you have to make your actions go in harmony with your beliefs and principles. You can achieve an abundant life with true satisfaction and happiness if you know that you are living in harmony with other people, with yourself, and with your environment. How you look at life will always be a major factor in developing abundance.

Developing abundance is a worthwhile goal. It's not selfish to live an abundant life. In fact, it enables people to be generous to others and frees them from self-focus necessary when struggling to survive. The process of developing abundance usually takes some time, but it is a satisfying journey that transforms individuals and their communities.

The Time to Be Happy is Now By Laura Ceville

I once came across a sundial that said: "The Time to Be Happy is Now. The Place to Be Happy is Here." Simple, yet this saying is at the heart of so much unrest for so many. I struggle with this one myself! Most people say, if only I had "X," things would be better. If only I had "X" amount of money I would start saving. If only I had "X" opportunity I would really be successful. If only I had the--fill in the blank--health, wealth, skills etc. life would be so much different! What is your X Factor?

Unfortunately we build our whole lives around our X Factor. We "if only" ourselves to the grave. When our lives are spent we finally look back and say, "Tomorrow never came." We then realize, when it is too late, that our time to shine was at our very fingertips. It was always ours for the taking. As Henry David Thoreau said, "Heaven is under our feet, as well as over our heads." And not just some days--everyday!

A few years ago I had the opportunity to escort Mr. Billy Ray Cyrus and his band mates around for a day in preparation for a free show he was putting on for the troops (Go Air Force!). At the time I had a fire-engine red electric guitar and was learning how to play. As we were heading over to the venue for the event one of Billy Ray's band mates (a guitarist) said, let me give you a tip: "Most people hear me play and say, 'If I could play like that I'd play all of the time.'" He went on to say that this thinking is flawed. "They don't realize," he said, "You have to play all of the time to sound like that!" So very true I thought! But knowing something is so and acting on that knowledge are two very different things.

You must act now to make a change! Today is the day. Do not fool yourself into believing that your success will come when you finally reach some imaginary plane of existence you have conjured because you fear the repercussions of immediate change. Here's a secret that was whispered into my ear a few years back: God doesn't put a dream in you that you can't make a reality, i.e. everything you need is already in you!

As Napoleon Hill said, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve." It is the truth. Forget your X Factor. Toss your hesitations to the wind. Act now to make the change you wish to see a reality. If you don't know how to get to where you want to be find someone who has already achieved what you want and earnestly ask them for their advice, their encouragement, and their support. More importantly shut your mouth and listen (two ears, one mouth for a reason, remember?). In short, put your ego aside and humble yourself.

So what are you putting off? What "if only's" do you have rattling around in your head? Decide today to be the winner you were born to be! When you start acting like a winner, you will become a winner, and other winners will find you! They will seek you out to hear you speak your truth. As Jim Rohn once said, "You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less. Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?"

Today is your day!

"Things are not as bad as I think they are." by Alan Tutt

Today I want to share with you a very powerful affirmation which
has gotten me out of some rather unpleasant circumstances.

According to many who teach affirmations, it's not a good one,
but I can tell you from my own experience -- it works!

Just to make sure we fully understand each other, I should define
what I mean by "affirmation".  An affirmation is a statement
which refocuses our mind with the intention of altering the
experiences we have in our lives.

A classic affirmation may be something like:
"Every day, in every way, my life is getting better and better."

This is the famous affirmation taught by Emile Coue in the
classic book, "Self Mastery Through Conscious Autosuggestion."
(By the way, this book may be found in the Research Library
offered as a bonus with all PowerKeys Publishing memberships.)

The principle behind affirmations is that by repeating the
statement over and over again, our minds start to believe it,
and from there, the power of belief starts to direct the course
of events in our lives to produce the essence of the statement in
our experience.

Traditionally, affirmations are supposed to be phrased in the
present tense (happening, or existing now), and positive (stating
the desired condition directly, rather than through the use of
'not').

Many years ago, when I was just starting to learn these
principles, I had many negative conditions in my life.  When
things seemed to be at their worst, and I could not see any way
to cope, I repeated the following affirmation over and over.

"Things are not as bad as I think they are."

It may seem strange that I didn't use an affirmation that said
something more like "My life is a glorious picture of perfection.
Everything happens exactly as I want it to."

After all, that would seem to fit the standard definition of what
an affirmation is supposed to be, right?

Maybe, but it wouldn't have worked.

Here's why.  To be effective, an affirmation must be believable!

If you try repeating an affirmation that makes your stomach turn
because you know it's absolutely not true, then the only thing
you're doing is reinforcing the belief that things are bad.

And that's not what you want.

Even though that little affirmation doesn't measure up to
traditional standards, it works because it was something I could
believe.  I could believe that I didn't have an accurate idea of
what really existed in the world around me.

And admitting that I didn't know everything opened the door for
my inner mind (and the Power of the Universe) to show me a better
side of the world.

Each time I felt so low that the only thing I could focus my mind
upon was the idea that I was wrong, I would spend a few minutes
repeating this strange little affirmation to myself.

A few minutes was all it took, because I started to feel better,
and I could believe that there were better things happening, or
at least they COULD happen.

And that was enough to get the ball rolling in the right
direction.  The very next day, I would always find a bit of "good
luck" coming my way, making the sun shine brighter, and easing my
way down Life's highway.

Hopefully, things aren't that bad in your life.  But if they are,
or if you know something who thinks things are that bad, I
suggest using this affirmation:

"Things are not as bad as I think they are."

As surely as the sun rises the next day, so will your spirits.

Can You Feel it?

Every emotion you have ever had has been immediately labeled by your mind, as either being good or bad. From this list, you then choose to either let them flow and enjoy them, or you decide you must avoid them by any means necessary.

Emotions are the biggest part of the human experience. In life, we have to experience emotions completely by feeling them fully. Your feelings are your guide in figuring out life’s game, and to truly get what you desire. Even the negative emotions are imperative to living that happy, fulfilling life you so deserve. It’s sometimes easier to figure out what you want, by first knowing what you don’t want.

When you resist an emotion, or refuse to feel it, you are causing the energy system attached to it, to stall. It becomes stagnant, still energy within and around you. This may be why feelings of sadness stick around much longer then blissful ones.

The inability to express emotions can be psychologically and physically damaging. After all if you tell someone how you feel and they react critically instead of emphatically, you may reconsider sharing in the future. Expressing negative emotions may make you feel guilt or shame, so you cram them down even further. If not dealt with, the negative feelings intensify. Then you begin to see more negative experiences in your life then positive ones. Depression, anger, fear, sadness and anxiety creeps in and you get lost in the shuffle.

Negative feelings can have a damaging impact on your immune system. Certain hormones like adrenaline and cortisol are released in abundant amounts when you are fearful, angry or upset. Too much of these otherwise helpful hormones will weaken your immune system and harm its ability to fight off disease. The opposite is also a scientific fact; that positive emotions such as love, joy and contentment release chemicals within the body that strengthen your immune system. A healthy immune system is imperative in preventing diseases and sicknesses.

Negative emotions have the potential to take over your thoughts and your life. They can impair your ability to think rationally or see situations in their true perspective. The longer you hold onto a negative emotion, the more likely it will become a ‘normal’ pattern of thinking, entrenched in your being. If you continue to hold a grudge for instance, your anger isn’t being released and it may show up as an illness or chronic pain.

If an overwhelming amount of negative emotions are kept bottled up, you may start to look outwardly for ways to be cured. You might use food, exercise, drugs, alcohol, shopping or relationships as your band-aids. Instead, you need to learn to focus inwardly to find the peace and balance you crave.

Accept the fact that your emotions, however unfavorable, are here to stay. You can’t avoid them, so you might as well learn how to work with them instead. You can start by replacing negative emotions with more positive ones. Just by adding the powerful emotion of gratitude to your life can cause huge positive changes to happen.

Life is all about emotions. Any scene or event you have ever experienced can be broken down into many emotional parts. Emotions are simply the physical reactions you have to your thoughts. Your emotions are also constantly changing. One minute you may be feeling happy and at peace with the world, and then you hear a sad story on the news or read a disturbing article in the paper, and your emotions change rapidly to negative ones rather than positive ones.

Emotions are your signs to be more aware of something. They lead you by the hand in the dark Getting in touch with your emotions means paying attention to your mind – body connection. They are also great at helping you decide what you want in life, as well as what you don’t want. Emotions can be fun and should be used as your very own personal guidance system. They point directly to your hearts desires. Listen to your emotions; they are trying to tell you something.

If you are now experiencing more negative feelings then positive ones, then learning a constructive way to release their grip on you should be your priority. Some people use Yoga, Meditation, Aromatherapy, or Prayer. There are many techniques that are helping people rid themselves of unhealthy negative emotions. I use the Release Technique. It taught me how to stop any negativity instantly and now I feel better then ever.

Unless you have the proper guidance, letting go of emotional suffering can be very hard, especially if you have been fighting these emotions for a long time. Letting go, or releasing is something anyone can, and should learn. I don’t mean pushing your emotions away or stuffing them down even further. Your emotions are valid; it’s the feeling of suffering you want to be free of.

Self Coaching Tips that Can Increase Confidence

Scared childImage via Wikipedia
Positive feelings of self worth are your most valuable asset. Although invisible, the power of confidence is undeniable. Looking at the causes of low self esteem can lead you to deeper understanding of yourself and improve your self worth.

If you suffer from low self worth, or have poor self confidence, then it will be very difficult to find the peace you are seeking.

Some questions you might ask to determine if you, or someone you love is suffering from low self worth are:

• Do I have an eating disorder? This is western society’s current epidemic; everyone thinks that they are overweight, even those who are not.

• Are you experiencing relationship troubles? Do you have affairs, intimacy problems, or commitment issues?

• Am I suffering from any physical ailments? Chronic illness or pain is a major stress in the lives of many.

• Do I use drugs and/or alcohol to hide from my feelings?

• Maybe I work way too much. This steals time from a very important social life.

• A lot of people’s money goes to the mall; shopaholics are everywhere. Is this a problem for me?

• Why do I smoke? Besides being highly addictive, some people hide behind this habit.

• Am I dependent on others to keep me occupied or from feeling bored?

All of these issues are deeply rooted within our culture. They have become so common that they may be considered normal. Everyone you know uses at least one of these outlets to avoid their real issues.

Your self worth is directly impacted by how you perceive yourself and how you react to those feelings. When you are too critical of your self, you only hurt your self esteem and you’ll find it hard to feel happy and content.

The majority of our problems stem from childhood. Children deeply desire approval from their parents. They want to feel unconditional love at all times. If your upbringing included abandonment, then your self worth has most likely taken a direct hit.

Were you expected to be perfect all the time? Were your parents impatient with your mistakes? If so, you may avoid taking risks now, even healthy ones, in fear of failure or to fall short or what you think is expected of you. You may decide not even to try anything new because your scared you won’t be able to do it perfectly. This only causes regret and adds to your misery.

Having a ‘drill sergeant’ for a parent, one who was constantly pushing, preaching or yelling at you, would also cause painful memories and low self esteem. Growing up with angry parents is very harmful to anybody’s self worth. The child may become timid or nervous around others, or even worse, they may grow up with their own anger issues and act out violently towards others.

Maybe you were neglected by your parents. Not getting the proper time and attention as children can reek havoc on our happiness.

Another problem that’s fairly common is the contradictory or mixed messages you got from your parents. Maybe you were told to follow your dreams, but when you shared them, you were given countless reasons why that would be impossible, and to stop daydreaming. Many mothers say to their daughters, “That boy is teasing to you because he likes you.” What??? This leads girls (women) to believe that it’s ok to be in an abusive relationship. After all, he’s being mean because he ‘cares’ about me.

Conflicting beliefs continually work against each other at the sub conscious level. These hidden beliefs can be very difficult to overcome, mainly because you probably aren’t even aware of most of them. You may want to believe one thing, but your mind is secretly telling you something else.

People with low self-esteem have a vicious inner critic who robs them of their confidence. Low self esteem makes it hard to cope with life and difficult for you to make decisions. Having low self esteem may cause you to be afraid of taking risks or challenges, which you interpret as further proof that you are undeserving or a failure. Since you are in the habit of being so critical of yourself, you become extra critical of others too. This only allows more negativity to creep into your life.

Being mindful or paying attention to your thoughts and feelings is key to self discovery and being confident; as long as it’s done in a non-judgmental way. You need to show compassion and accept yourself just as you are. If you hate yourself all day, everyday, you’re causing toxic energy to become a part of you and every area of your life. Talking down to yourself will keep you connected with feelings of unworthiness. If you keep shoving salt in your wounds, they will never have a chance to heal.

Try to remember the happiest moment of your childhood. Imagine yourself as that child once again. Be nurturing and love that child as you would your own baby or someone else you truly care about. Coach yourself by saying things that make you feel better. Treat your emotions as your child and guide them away from danger.

Intentionally talk to yourself (I mean only in your mind of course) in a way that you wished to be talked to when you were young. Tell yourself you are proud of you! Celebrate that great idea you had. Believe you are a special person and know you have the right to be happy. Congratulate and take pride in yourself often. When you do a good job, make sure you know you did a good job. Mistakes will be made, you are human after all. Understand you make mistakes for the purpose of learning and growing; the next time you will do things differently.

Be sure to cultivate feelings of accepting yourself just the way you are. Don’t beat yourself up if you break down and cry; simply remind yourself that tears are cleansing to your soul. Release all tension during your cry. Let it all out, and then let it go. Remember its okay to have lots of differing feelings, that’s normal. And always, always apologize to yourself when you realize you have swayed off course. Saying sorry to you is a healthy way to overcome any feelings of guilt that you may be harboring.

Be observant and you will learn much about yourself. What makes you who you are? What is it that makes you tick? Realize that you are not the problem, but your old, out dated mind programs are to blame. Like all programs, this one can be tweaked for the better as well. Adding more positive thought patterns to your running program has been proven to help increase your self worth and aids you in overcoming habitual, self destructive thinking.

The Secrets of Letting Go: Opening to Abundance!

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - JANUARY 24: Laughter co...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

(Creator of the Miracle Mind Manifesting Program

Letting go is important for attracting and allowing abundance into your life!

I recently did a letting go ‘ritual' that involved writing down that which I wanted to let go of and burning the paper (more tips on that further below).

Holding on, be it to negative or positive things, blocks our ability to receive in the present and mars our abundance.

You may be holding on to grievances, hurts, resentments or upsets from your past, or you may be holding on to positive things, such as qualities from past relationships or friendships, which prevent those very qualities showing up in the present.

You may be holding on to negative attitudes, habits, beliefs or thought-feeling patterns.

Perhaps you are holding on to a way life ‘should be’, to expectations, rules or demands towards yourself, others or life, that hinders acceptance and the magic of flow that allows life to change and evolve to a higher level.

The more ‘needy’ you are of something, or of a situation or person to be a certain way, the more you will repel it, for the universe wishes to free you from your dependency and remind you that what you seek does not lie ‘out there’, and that you are the source of your reality. Nothing changes until you do.

Desire, on the other hand, is a healthy generative emotion and is different to need. Your desire calls forth and attracts.

Feel your desires and the qualities you seek (why you want something and the positive emotions and qualities around that, such as the love, success, happiness, freedom, joy, etc.), and then let go of the outcome or the form of that outcome.

If it is a relationship you desire, for example, let go of any specifics about who that person should be, and be open to receiving that which is for your highest good and in alignment with your desires and the qualities you are emanating (which you do in the Manifesting Blueprint Meditation).

Trust the universe will bring you what is most appropriate for you and in alignment with your highest path.

Obviously you also want to have beliefs that support the outcomes you seek, and have positive expectation and imagination towards that realization of your heart’s desires. It is important, however, not to become too fixated or control-oriented about how things should be.

Trust, acceptance and humility are antidotes here.

Sometime the universe has something in mind for us that will serve us greater and more holistically than our limited viewpoint is aware of, something that will assist our healing, growth and soul’s purpose. We may need to let go of our preconceived expectations to allow the unknown and its gifts to land in our reality.

Letting go creates the space for something new and something beyond our imagination and expectation.

What Is Your Success Distance?

Article written by David Cameron Gikandi

http://www.ahappypocketfullofmoney.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=1083

Lightning over the outskirts of Oradea, Romani...
The ease and speed at which you get from point A to B depends on the distance between point A and B. So, what is the distance between you and success in whatever field you choose? What is the distance between you and success in your marketing, financial, relationship, happiness or health matters? It does not matter what you are looking to succeed at - the principle here is the same.

Success Distance is measured by three components: Body, Mind, and Soul or in other words physical distance, intellectual knowledge and emotional bearing. Let us examine each one.

Body, or physical distance, is simply the physical distance in miles between you and your marketplace, your target health point, or your relationship partner. Physical distance is the easiest distance component to understand, so we shall not spend too much time on it. It is all about location. Like they say in real estate, it is all about location, location, and location. Where are you physically in relation to your marketplace, target health point, or your relationship partner? Are you easy or hard to get in touch with? Do you network with people in similar situations so you can help each other out? Do you live near your most attractive marketplaces, target health point, or your relationship partner? If you do business online, can people find you easily through links from other web sites, search engines, articles and so on? Is it easy to order from you, help you, and be with you? Always keep improving and shortening your physical distance.

Mind or intellectual knowledge is next. It is even more powerful than physical distance. The only thing more powerful than it is Soul or emotional distance. To put it simply, you are paid for the knowledge that you posses and express. A doctor is paid for medical knowledge, but only when she uses it to heal, when she expresses it. So is a plumber, and so on. So it is very obvious that to get more success in any area of life, you must improve your knowledge of that area of life. In that way, you are shortening the distance between you and that area, by coming to know it for what it really is instead of what you think it is. It is the errors in your thinking that cause 'failure'. Failure is merely a gentle prodding telling you that you need to fix an error in thought. So read. Ask. In fact, learn to ask your Higher Self questions. Ask and you shall always receive. Just formulate your question and consciously ask your Higher Self this question. There is no particular way of doing it - your Self is always listening and knows when your attention is directed to it. It is only you who have been ignoring it because of too much worry and mental noise. Ask. Then drop your worries and be observant! In the very next moment, or day, or person, or movie, or magazine, or book you see on the bookshelf, your answer will have been brought to you. Trust me, ask your Higher Self a question and within minutes or hours or perhaps a day or so, if you are aware and observant, you will be led to exactly the right place to find your answer. The answer may not be the one you expect, but it will be the one that will lead you to success, even if at first you may not see how.

Finally, but most importantly, is your Soul, or emotional distance. Simply put, you are an energy system. You are not a chunk of flesh, you are energy. If you were to magnify yourself, you would find that you are made of cells, which are in turn made up of molecules of various substances. These are in turn made up of atoms. And atoms are composed of electrons, protons, and neutrons. And these are energy packets. An electron is an energy packet. Yes, you are one big ball of energy. And so is everything else. And here is what you are here to do: to experience energy in motion, to experience e-motion, emotions. At every moment, even if you are not aware of it, you are feeling a certain emotion. And whatever emotion that is, it resonates and attracts similar energy systems around you. So when you are happy, you attract happy conditions. Your inner state creates your outside experience. Therefore, the most important thing is this: how do you FEEL Now? Always, all ways, it matters most how you feel now, because that is what creates your experiences. To succeed, you must bridge the emotional distance between you and the thing you wish to succeed in. to succeed in finances, you must heal all feelings of negativity towards money, low self-esteem, poor self worth, victim mentality, certain fears, and so on. These feelings push you away from money, no matter how hard you work. Effort begets the results of effort, nothing more or less. And the result of effort, if you haven't noticed, is much strain. Look, if hard work was all you needed to succeed, half this planet would be rich. How obvious is that! People work like dogs nowadays! Anyway, let us move on. To succeed in your relationships, you must be love itself, yourself. Unconditional love. All other feelings of fear and so on increase the distance between you and your success. And to succeed in health, again you shorten the distance by increasing your self-love, self-esteem, and dropping worry and fear. By the way, when I say 'drop fear' I do not mean that you resist it. No. in fact, what you resist persists and grows stronger. I mean that you face it, embrace it, look at it directly, find its original cause in your life, forgive all of it, and you will see that it was just a cloud of smoke, it was nothing really.

Well, there you go. You are now armed with some very easy to follow, logical processes that will get you where you wish to be. Well, it is a start, but you must follow through yourself - no one can do it for you. People can only guide and help you but you must choose and act yourself. Don't let your old fears imprison you for ever. The pain of life-long mediocrity is greater than the pain of changing. Just do it! If you wish to learn more about the above processes and wealth consciousness, please see www.imagesofone.com.

I found this fascinating quote today:

Do our thoughts cause our feelings or do our feelings cause our thoughts? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the theory that feelings are caused by thoughts. This seems to make a lot of sense. If we spend all our time thinking that our life is awful, we are useless and nothing is ever going to get better then it’s not surprising that we end up feeling sad, hopeless and despairing. Equally if we think we will succeed, recognize all the positive things in our life and think that things will improve this may help us to feel happy, optimistic and positive.
